Independent Venue Week 2022 calls on fans to support their local venue, “buy a f*cking ticket” and go see a show!

In an effort to encourage fans to get out to local independent venues and support their favorite bands, Independent Venue Week has unveiled a new collection of merch embossed with the rallying cry to “Buy A F*cking Ticket.”

“The entire premise of Independent Venue Week is to consciously remind people that these rooms exist and to meaningfully support the work that so many people do to make that possible,” says Rev. Moose, Managing Partner of Marauder, the firm behind Independent Venue Week in the U.S. “The easiest way to do that is to just buy a f*cking ticket. That’s it. Buy a ticket, go to a show, buy something from the artist, just be there in the room.”

With this new collection of merch now available at Independent Venue Week’s online store, fans can show off this poignant call to action with pride, and at a cheaper price for those who show proof of purchase. By posting a photo of ticket purchase to any independent venue for shows taking place after October 27, 2022 to social media with the hashtag #buyafuckingticket and tagging Independent Venue Week fans can receive a 20% discount code to Independent Venue Week’s merch store sent as a private message.

Net proceeds from all pre-sale purchases of merch featuring this new design will be donated to the National Independent Venue Foundation (NIVF).
