Sammy Rae & The Friends take the stage at The Vogue with special guests, Con Brio on Saturday, March 19th. Get your tickets HERE.

Sammy Rae and her dynamic six-piece group, The Friends, have captured audiences and fans around the nation with their unique sound. Their sound is a mélange of Sammy’s influences, rooted in classic rock, folk, and funk and sprinkled with soul and jazz. 

Sammy Rae, her co-manager Doug Shaw, and her agent Seth Rappaport sat down with Pollstar to catch up on everything new and interesting happening with her and the rest of the band. Rae states that she started playing piano when she was very young and began writing songs when she was 12 years old. Reflecting on the artists that have inspired and impacted her the most, to which she responded “I live for Freddie Mercury and his fearless stage confidence, Bruce Springsteen and his family-first band leadership and Ella Fitzgerald and her dexterous use of her voice as an instrument”. With these musical influences, Sammy Rae is guaranteed to give you the best show of your life!

The band kicks off their 14-date Follow Me Like The Moon tour on March 13, 2022 in Detroit, Michigan. Following their tour, the group will continue to perform at music festivals throughout the summer such as Summer Camp, Redwing Roots, and Levitate Festival.
