Carter Vail: The Coydog EP

The Coydog EP marks a compelling evolution for Carter Vail: short but dense, playful but earnest, simple hooks but layered meaning. The fusion of indie rock, alt-pop, and cinematic narrative positions Vail to reach both mainstream and niche audiences.

Durry: Dead Media

The sibling-rock duo Durry dropped their single Dead Media on September 19, 2025. It’s a punchy, candid piece that taps into themes of social-media overload and how we consume- and discard- our “dead” digital content. In the words of the band, the single “will call you out on your social-media addiction.” It perfectly captures where the band is now- hooded in alt-rock energy, yet mature enough to critique the very environment that helped them rise.

Laney Jones has dropped a new single! We Belong Together embraces the idea that despite life’s rapid shifts, there’s comfort and purpose in belonging together. With her rich craft and multi-instrumental flavor, Jones reinforces her evolution as an artist navigating emotion, identity, and community.

“Ever since me and my partner-in-crime, Brian, wrote this song three years ago, we’ve been trying to capture it. But good things take time and patience.” said Jones in a recent Instagram post.

Runo Plum: Alley Cat

Alley Cat is the fourth single released from Runo Plum’s upcoming album, patching.

On the new single, Plum shares “Social anxiety, a neurodivergent struggle of mine! Socializing can feel like standing on the edge of a cliff. I don’t drink anymore but alcohol used to help numb that anxiety (i.e. the lyrics “browned out”). The long outro makes me feel like it’s 4am, I’m in my room laying on my back on the floor in a starfish position, and I’m astral projecting or something.”

Last Dinosaurs: Exie

Last Dinosaurs have dropped two more singles for their upcoming album! Exie reworks their 2015 fan favorite Evie, giving it a sleek, modern edge without losing the dreamy, melodic charm of the original. It’s nostalgic yet forward-looking, a reflection on time, growth, and how creative energy changes over a decade.

Meanwhile, Dead or Alive introduces something new, pairing punchy guitar with introspective lyrics about momentum and identity. Together, the two songs bridge Last Dinosaurs’ past and future- showing a band still grounded in their indie pop roots, but unafraid to experiment and reframe their sound for a new era.

Twen: Fate Euphoric

Nashville duo Twen return with Fate Euphoric, a shimmering indie-rock album that explores themes of destiny, control, and the cycles of life. Blending jangly guitars, dream-pop textures, and reflective lyrics, the record feels both bright and introspective. Standout tracks like “Godlike,” “Tapdance in Limbo,” and the title track capture the duo’s signature balance of energy and thoughtfulness. Released intentionally on a supermoon, Fate Euphoric ties cosmic symbolism to human emotion; an album about surrendering to the wheel of fate while dancing on its edge.

The band described the album as “10 songs spinning through the overwhelming feeling of powerlessness in this techno-cratic world. We found inspiration in a medieval symbol, the ‘rota fortunae’; the wheel-of-fortune with roman-pagan origins. We like to think of each song as a spoke on the wheel. Lady fate blindly spins the wheel as a king sits atop, a dead man at the bottom, and the descent/ascent on either side. Though there’s no comfort at the bottom, assurance lies in the inevitable and eventual spin. Impermance is the only solace.”

Catch them at HI-FI on March 27th!
