America Eats Its Young isn’t a cover band. It’s a party. It’s your friends that throw on Parliament Funkadelic to make you free your mind so your ass can follow. What started as a one-off festival super group from the greater Chicagoland/ NWI area in 2018, they remain one of most sought-after parties around, selecting a few gigs a year to keep in fresh and funky. They respect the music of George and the Gang but maybe some famous P-Funk samples make their way in the set as well, some you didn’t even know. They got chops, they cook Cosmic Slop, and they bring the true spirit of George: “One Nation Under A Groove.”
