Known for their raw stage energy and genre-blending sound, DeeOhGee is made up of Matthew Paige (guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zack Murphy (drums, vocals), and Dylan Whitlow (bass, vocals, guitar). The three musical lifers first rose to national prominence as Blackfoot Gypsies, earning their reputation the hard way: constant touring, hand-built stagewear, and a live show that split the difference between a roadhouse and a revival tent. Along the way, they shared stages with Tyler Childers, Buddy Guy, and Dwight Yoakam.

When the pandemic halted their momentum, the trio regrouped under a new name and a renewed sense of purpose. DeeOhGee (a nod to a Waylon Jennings lyric) became both a rebirth and a blank slate – a place to explore swampy psych jams, honky-tonk twang, and garage-punk stomp without apology. Whether they’re jamming in a van barreling down backroads or breaking into spontaneous harmonica howls in studio sessions, DeeOhGee is here to celebrate the roots of American music while setting fire to the rulebook.
