American duo Friend of a Friend formed in the summer of 2020 after a lifetime of just missing each other. 2 years later, the pair released their debut album In Arms, a cinematic blend of folk, post and art rock, recorded on tape in Nashville. Their second album was recorded in the California desert with Jordan Lawlor (J. Laser, M83) and is due for release this year.
The duo has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America in the last year, and are celebrated for their fierce, genre-bending performance that incorporates a plugged in and pedaled Flamenco guitar, a midi controller and intense physicality.
