Joel Gragg & The Filaments

Formed in 2022, The Filaments began when Joel Gragg, Jamie Perryman, and Bruce Williams joined forces for a rock show and immediately discovered a rare musical chemistry.

The trio quickly earned a loyal following throughout Central Illinois, opening for artists such as Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band and Toranzo Cannon. After Gragg moved to Indianapolis in 2024, the band evolved into a new powerhouse lineup featuring Ryan Lukas on bass and Dawson Ouellette on drums.

Joel Gragg & The Filaments blend classic rock, blues, soul, and psychedelic improvisation into a sound that is both familiar and fresh. With dynamic live performances and a growing Midwest presence, the band continues to build momentum while introducing audiences to their distinctive brand of groove-driven rock.
