STRANGE LOT

STRANGE LOT is the psych rock project founded by singer and guitarist Dominic Mena, originally formed in Phoenix, Arizona before relocating to Austin, Texas in 2019. What began as a bedroom recording project steadily evolved into a full band through a DIY approach and a commitment to immersive, analog inspired songwriting. The band’s current lineup features Dominic Mena (vocals, guitar), Cameron Martin (drums), and Jason Desiderio (guitar, synthesizers).
STRANGE LOT has steadily built momentum through acclaimed live performances, national touring, and a growing catalog of releases. In 2026, the band made its KEXP debut with a live session recorded in Seattle, following an official SXSW showcase, a European and UK tour that included Fuzz Club Eindhoven, a headlining appearance alongside The Black Angels at Austin Psych Fest, and a full U.S. tour supporting Melody’s Echo Chamber.

Their new self-titled album arrives via Greenway Records and was produced by Alex Maas of The Black Angels, mixed by Jim Eno of Spoon, and mastered by Howie Weinberg. The record expands on the band’s blend of hypnotic rhythms, shimmering guitars, driving krautrock influenced grooves, and hazy psychedelia, while pushing their songwriting into more expansive territory.

On stage, STRANGE LOT has shared bills with artists including The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Angels, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Kikagaku Moyo, A Place to Bury Strangers, LA Witch, Boogarins, and Holy Wave. Their performances have earned invitations to festivals and tastemaker platforms including KEXP, SXSW, Fuzz Club Eindhoven, Levitation, Austin Psych Fest, and FLOOD Sessions.

With a new album, international touring, and growing recognition across North America and Europe, STRANGE LOT continues to establish itself as one of the emerging voices in modern psychedelic rock.
