William Hinson is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Citing The Beatles, John Mayer, Hall and Oates, and The 1975 as his biggest influences, William fuses catchy, relatable lyrics with feel-good compositions to create a sound that has landed him performance slots on radio, festivals, college campuses, and beloved venues such as Georgia Theatre, Mercury Lounge, and Cat’s Cradle. William Hinson has built an impressive catalog, generating over 8M streams on Spotify alone. His principle-inspired sounds come from many moons before him, showcasing his unique ability to transcend eras with his knack for mélange, from his bossa nova offering “George Harrison” (a pastiche of “And I Love Her” by The Beatles) to his 50’s Doo-Wop song “I Can’t Think For Myself.” In 2020, William released a new project entitled Everything Will Be Okay, and more recently issued three singles in 2022, with more on the way in 2023.
