Imitators come and go, but there is only one “Battle”. After a long hiatus, the original Battle of the Bands is back. For 7 years the The Battle, or B.O.B as it was called, was the highest attended weekly local music event in the city. Now, the creators have resurrected the event which returns with the same format and prizes that it left off with nearly 10 years ago.
The Battle has helped to unite Indianapolis’ original music scene while providing a powerful networking opportunity for bands and music industry professionals alike. Win, lose, or draw, The Battle attracts new and established bands from all over Indiana, giving them the opportunity to play at one of the premier clubs in Indianapolis – HI-FI. It’s a wild and woolly free-for-all and one band will walk away with the ultimate grand prize of $10,000 and a new tour van.
Band registration is first come first served and limited to the first 72 bands that signup. After all slots have been filled, a waiting list will be created.
Before pre-registering your band:

Ensure at least two members can be present at the Registration Party on July 24
Pay the non-refundable $50 registration fee. Fee will be paid back to you for your first round performance. If you cancel, the fee is nonrefundable.
Yes, you will be paid for your performance:
$50 payment per band for first round performance
$100 payment per band for semifinal performance
No performance fee for The Finals
Band hospitality and beverages provided in green room only
