New Years Eve tends to be all style and no substance, but MOKB Presents is bringing a hefty dose of genre-bending, synth-heavy, dreamy pop to the HiFi to greet 2019. Flint Eastwood has morphed into the solo project/stage name of singer/songwriter Jax Anderson. The Detroit-based alt-pop singer describes Flint Eastwood as “spaghetti Western-inspired.”
The aesthetic comes through both in Anderson’s costuming choices and in the sparse, desert-esque soundscape in her records. Tickets are already on sale for $25, and it’s the perfect way to kick off the new year with new songs on your Spotify.
