Chreece, the highly anticipated Independent hip hop music festival, is set to make its triumphant return to the vibrant city of Indianapolis on Saturday, August 26th, 2023. Taking place in the heart of the beautiful Fountain Square neighborhood, this year’s festival promises to be a memorable celebration of hip hop culture, featuring an incredible lineup of national acts, talented local artists, and a diverse range of venues.
After a three-year break, Chreece is back with a bang partnering with creative advocacy firm GANGGANG, showcasing the best and brightest talents from Indianapolis and beyond. This year’s lineup boasts an impressive roster of national acts who will grace the stage with their electrifying performances. Among the headliners are:
- 9th Wonder: Renowned as one of the industry’s most influential producers, 9th Wonder will captivate the audience with his signature beats and impeccable production skills.
- redveil: With their unique blend of thought-provoking lyrics and infectious melodies, redveil promises to deliver a performance that transcends traditional hip hop boundaries.
- Kari Faux: multi-faceted artist from Little Rock, AR. She is known for her genre-bending music and bold fashion. Her unique style has helped garner a cult following and make her a force amongst the new generation of hip-hops most fearless and outspoken female voices.
- Jordan Ward: A rising star from St.Louis, Jordan Ward’s smooth flow and introspective storytelling will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on festival-goers.
- Pink Siifu: With his genre-defying sound and evocative lyricism, Pink Siifu is a force to be reckoned with, bringing a unique and captivating style to Chreece.
In remembrance of our esteemed partner, Ron Miner, also known as DJ Indiana Jones, a legendary figure in the Indianapolis hip hop community, Chreece will pay tribute to his influential legacy throughout the event. Ron Miner’s contribution to the local music scene and his unwavering support for emerging artists will forever be remembered and cherished.
Chreece is a celebration of hip hop culture and the incredible talent found in the city of Indianapolis and the country. Over 80+ local hip hop artists, DJs, and producers will take the stage across eight different venues within the Fountain Square neighborhood. From newly added edition of HI-FI Annex (ALL AGES), HI-FI indoor(ALL AGES) to the intimate setting of White Rabbit (21+), Square Cat Vinyl (ALL AGES), Hoosier Dome (ALL AGES), Atomic Bowl (ALL AGES), The Rooftop Garden (21+), and The Fountain Square Plaza (ALL AGES), each venue offers a unique experience and showcases the vibrant local hip hop culture.
