Spring Term makes songs that sound like spring.

Raised on a steady midwestern diet of indie and classic rock, project creator Nathan Davis has taken his pulse for songwriting and production and is peering out a new window. In a world woven with quick-clicks, Spring Term makes music that inspires self reflection and enjoying the present. Drawing from the curiosity of Bob Dylan and colorful chants of Ebo Taylor, Spring Term’s textured production resembles a pre-social media Vampire Weekend with sprinkles of Sylvan Esso. With visual inspiration from artists like Sister Corita Kent and Ellsworth Kelly, his attitude is colorful, youthful, and a refreshing take on DIY pop.

Through years of sharing the stage with acts like The Wldlfe, Coast Modern and Yoke Lore, Spring Term was born with the single “Hopscotch” in the Spring of 2022. An ensuing musical and lyrical dive into childhood resulted in “Kiddo”, this EP exploring the wonders and pains of growing up. The world can only expect more from this blooming artist.
