HI-FI kicked off outdoor concerts in Fountain Square last Friday (April 17th) with the opening of HI-FI Annex (1065 St. Patrick Street, Indianapolis). Friday featured popular indie garage rock band The Nude Party and Saturday featured local heroes Johnny Socko (Sold Out). Over 40 shows are already announced and on sale with over 75 shows planned for the 7th and final season. Fans can look forward to a great lineup of all ages shows featuring performances from The Beths, Mannequin Pussy, Enter Shikari, Fruit Bats, Daniel Donatos Cosmic Country, Julia Wolf, Built To Spill , and more — the 2026 season promises to be the venue’s most dynamic yet.
HI-FI Annex is open to fans and families of all ages and offers a full entertainment experience when combined with the amenities of the HI-FI’s three venues. Fans are encouraged to view the full lineup of announced concerts and secure tickets while they’re still available. With this being the final opportunity to experience an outdoor show at HI-FI Annex, demand is already high.
Since 2020, HI-FI Annex has emerged as one of Indy’s mainstay outdoor concert venues hosting major acts like Band of Horses, Future Islands, The Breeders, Shakey Graves, Wynonna Judd, American Football, Circle Jerks, Larry Fleet, Broken Social Scene, Bahamas, The Toadies, Trampled By Turtles, Allen Stone, Houndmouth, Atmosphere, Afghan Whigs & The Church, Built To Spill, Nolan Taylor, G-Flip, Amyl & The Sniffers Lee Fields, Vincent Mason, Crane Wives, Cuco, Tennis, Betty Who, The Disco Biscuits, Origami Angel, Scene Queen, The War & Treaty, Sharon Van Etten, Inhaler, Durand Jones & The Indications, Sir Chloe, Parmalee and many more.
Like many pop-up stages and businesses that emerged during the COVID-19 era, HI-FI Annex operated under temporary regulatory exemptions that are no longer in place. The continued challenges and expenses around zoning, permits and civic support have made continued outdoor operation increasingly difficult. HI-Fi is currently exploring options to shift the Annex operation indoors and provide year round programming.
