Booze Hounds Bluegrass

Booze Hounds Bluegrass originated with Eric Lee Reel and Louie “The Rooster” Morris in 2017. The band played as a duo for various events until 2021.  A hop, skip, and a flatland frolic later, Alec Bohuk joined on mandolin for a year until Louie left the band to pursue his career. Alec then brought along his talented partner, Taylor Williams and the three played as a power trio for a year. Taylor brought church choir harmonies and a musical theater molded female-vocal range.  In 2024, they brought in Joseph Fawcett sawin` the most beautiful melodies on his fiddle.  In 2025, Lucas Williams has been playing with us here and there as he brings a glorious second acoustic guitar and the finest vocals so Eric can bring out his banjo for a classic 5-piece bluegrass band. They bring the extra strings BHB needed to round out their sound. We play traditional tunes everybody knows and original music like “Ernie’s Homemade Wine”, “Railroad Bound”, “Naked Neighbor”, etc. We love playing together and that is evident as heck when you see us on any stage!
