Dylan Cotrone makes feel-good, guitar-driven alt-pop built for open highways, beach towns, late nights,

and loud singalongs. Blending the laid-back spirit of Sublime, Jack Johnson, and early 2000s California
alternative with modern hooks and emotionally honest songwriting, the Florida-born artist has quickly
emerged as one of the most exciting developing acts in the coastal/alternative space.

Raised in Bradenton, Florida, Dylan grew up surrounded by classic rock, reggae, and beach-town
culture. Inspired by artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Sugar Ray, and Steve Miller Band, he
taught himself guitar using his father’s old guitar books and began writing songs while attending college
in Florida. Early traction came through TikTok, where his covers and original songs connected
organically with audiences — including a viral rendition of Zach Bryan’s “Burn, Burn, Burn” that
generated millions of views.
That momentum carried into original releases like “Lazy,” “Cigarette,” and the breakout Dog House EP,
helping establish a rapidly growing fanbase drawn to Dylan’s mix of escapism, nostalgia, and
authenticity. But his latest music marks a major creative leap forward.
Recent singles “Far Out” and “Whoa Nelly” showcase a more fully realized sound: sun-soaked guitars,
infectious hooks, live-band energy, and a style that feels equally at home on alternative playlists, beach
bar stages, festival fields, and modern rock radio. Since the release of “Far Out,” Dylan’s catalog has
seen explosive growth across streaming and socials, with multiple clips generating hundreds of
thousands of views and strong fan engagement across TikTok and Instagram.
Momentum is now building well beyond DSPs. Dylan has begun receiving early support from modern
rock and alternative tastemakers including KBZT 94/9 San Diego, KTCL and KBCO in Denver, and
97X Tampa, while Spotify added “Far Out” to Varsity Bars. His audience continues expanding rapidly
across key U.S. markets including Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, Southern California, and emerging
pockets internationally in Australia and Canada.
A relentless live performer, Dylan recently completed a national run supporting Surfer Girl and will
continue touring throughout 2026 with headline dates, summer shows alongside the Wheeland
Brothers, and an appearance on the Sublime cruise this fall alongside artists deeply connected to the
culture and sound that helped shape him.
At the center of it all is Dylan’s ability to make music that feels both nostalgic and fresh — songs that
romanticize freedom, friendship, escape, and living fully in the moment.
“I want people to hear these songs and feel lighter,” Dylan says. “Even if it’s just for three minutes. I
want it to feel like summer.”
