Music Cities Forum did exactly what it was intended to do–get people talking. Early this year, the one day conference, hosted by Sound Diplomacy, Indy Chamber and HI-FI, provided a framework for collaboration and ideation that provided a jumping off point and create the creation of music strategy for Indianapolis. It was an exciting experience to see so many leaders, all passionate about music, interacting in one room for the first time. Since May, we’ve been working behind the scenes with Indy Chamber, City of Indianapolis, Sound Diplomacy and a energetic group of music enthusiasts to put a plan in motion. We’re not quite ready to make any announcements but we encourage you to make close attention to what Mayor Hogsett has to say on August 15.
In just a few weeks, we’ll be launching a new website that will provide ways for you to join the movement and get involved.
