Jessie Phelps

Jessie’s vocals validate and alleviate pain with a single note, and her stage presence exudes an honest passion for music. Growing up she has practiced her craft of songwriting and performing musically. A few poems and a piano laid the foundation, and with time she branched out into cello, guitar, and percussion. Jessie has played in a variety of projects over the years including: female duo, Jessie and Amy, all-girl rock band, The Clams, the blues/rock duo, Ghosts of Kin, and alt-rock band, Moxxie. Her songwriting grew immensely with each of these projects, not only showing what music is capable of, but what it is for.

Jessie’s technical prowess and deliverance of a pure rock & roll show has been recognized with current and past support opportunities for Lizzo, Florence and the Machine, K. Flay, AWOLNation, 311, G Love & Special Sauce, Blue October, and David Cook in recent years. Her upcoming solo debut album, “From Here on Out”, is a collection of songs written over a span of 15 years. Each track was carefully picked to keep a cohesive blend of love and loss, struggle and success.
