September Mourning is a dark culture fantasy based on a graphic novel (Top Cow/Image Comics) created by singer, Emily Lazar (September) and comic legend, Marc Silvestri.The band brings the world of the books to life on stage by playing the characters. They have toured & opened festivals for Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Slipknot and others in Europe and the United States, as well as Comic Cons and Anime Festivals.

Lazar and September Mourning hold the prestigious accomplishment of being the first female-fronted hard rock/metal band to successfully mint and sell NFTs,reaching #17 on the Opensea.io music charts, and remaining on the charts even to this day. Over the past year, the band has released multiple singles and an album (Volume IV) through traditional distribution as well as exclusively on web 3 platforms.They currently have over 950 collectors across 8 platforms.
