Gay Black Republican has been a force you cannot ignore on the Indianapolis punk rock scene since 2001. With a relentless and persistent drive, they blend old-school surf punk with tasteful splashes of garage, hardcore, and good old rock.
They have nine albums under their belt, have toured regionally, and have shared the stage with bands such as the Dead Kennedys, T.S.O.L., Richie Ramone, Sloppy Seconds, and MDC. Known for their explosive stage show and a lyrical attack on social issues, politics, and the hard life, GBR has been honored with several awards from local and national organizations.
Currently celebrating 25 years and working on their 10th album, keep looking for big things from Gay Black Republican!
