Taylor Sullivan-Peters is a brand ambassador for the power ambient movement from Indianapolis, Indiana. His work melds together both freely-improvised and tightly composed pieces using a range of acoustic, electronic, and homemade instruments. His most recent album, End the Parking Meter Racket!!!, a single, continuous synthesizer and live-looping improvisation, blends lulling ambient textures with spikes of harsh noise interjections. Previously recording as Regna Racer, a project that explored the boundaries between traditional folk song structure and freeform experimentation, Sullivan-Peters stumbles deeper into this territory under his own name.
